One of my great passions is working with animals, especially horses
and dogs. I love to capture their essence, and bring them to life!
And, working with animals is very different that corporate headshots.
One must be aware that an animal may be fearful of the new surroundings of a studio, the flash of “lightening,” and just in close surroundings with a new person.
I take my time to acclimate my models, have their owners nearby, and have plenty of treats, as well as distractions, at my disposal. You just never know what may appeal or lose its appeal to position the head as you wish.
I frequently travel to stables to photograph horses and, as any horse lover will tell you, the owner ADORES a professional image of their beautiful equine.
